The City of Moundridge is conducting a LMI survey to
determine if the City of Moundridge is eligible for funding for improvements of
public facilities through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
Program allows the Department of Commerce to distribute federal funds to
Kansas cities and counties looking to improve their community. To receive
funds, a project must meet at least one of the following federally mandated
criteria: 1) The project benefits
low- and moderate-income individuals. 2)
The project removes or prevents slum or blight condition. 3) The project eliminates an urgent need created
by a disaster when local funds are unavailable.
You will receive a 2014 LMI Survey during December. We ask that each household
complete and return the survey. The surveys will be kept confidential and will
only be used to determine if the City of Moundridge meets the 51% low to
moderate income requirement to be eligible to apply for these funds. If you
have any questions about this survey or the CDBG program please call the City
of Moundridge Administrative offices at 620-345-8246
