The City of Moundridge adopts an annual budget in August each year in accordance with state statute. Our budget year begins on January 1st.
The City total appropriates in all funds total more than $8 million. The assessed valuation of the City is more than $17 million. The City also collects a 1% local sales tax.
Our General funds is over $1.8 million. It supports the General Government functions, the Police Department; the City's share of the Fire Department; EMS; Transit Bus; Economic Development and other items listed.
