Thank you to everyone who attended the Photography Showcase at the Moundridge Arts Council today. We are excited to announce the winners of the Community Photo Contest. The Best of Show honors go to Macy Craig who submitted a color photograph of the east highway entrance into Moundridge. Along with the top honors Craig will also receive a new Nikon Camera as her prize.Shelby Graber won top choice for her black and white photo of her daughter visiting with Grandpa. Graber received $50 in Chamber Bucks. Katherine Stucky was the winner of the 15 and up youth group with a black and white photo of downtown Moundridge at night. She also received $25 in Chamber Bucks. Myiah Logue was the winner in the 14 and under youth category with her "running" photograph. Logue also received $25 in Chamber Bucks. We received over 100 entries for the photography contest. There were several merit awards presented and many thanks to the talented artists who participated in this event. The Photography Showcase will be featured at the Moundridge Public Library for the next two weeks. We also hope to have it displayed at Pine Village and Quincys soon.
