Bark Park Opens!

The ribbon cutting marked the opening of the new Bark Park. We wanted to get it open for people to enjoy this Summer. Later this Fall ramps and other play features will be added as the site continues to be developed. We will also be installing a new welcome sign and lay the donor bricks near the entrance to the park.

In the meantime there are a few rules to follow when using the park:

1-Open Dawn to Dusk.

2-Be respectful & clean up after your dog. (bags are available on site) 

3-All dogs must enter & exit the park while on a leash and handler must remain inside the park.

4-All dogs must be current on vaccinations, not in heat, not sick and over 5 months old.

5-Keep your dog in sight and under voice control at all times.

6-No aggressive dogs allowed. If your dog becomes unruly or plays rough, leash it and leave immediately.

7-Users are limited to three dogs per visit.

8-It is recommended that children be supervised by a parent or guardian.

9-Enter at your own risk & report any emergencies to 911.

10-Owners are personally & legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries caused by their dogs.

11-No smoking.

12-All other city park rules apply.

13-Most importantly, enjoy this dog park but please remember rule #2 about your dog's #2! (bags are available on site)
