How can I keep from having my electricity disconnected during the cold months of the year?
The City will not disconnect your electricity when the temperature is forecasted to drop below 35 degrees, or be in the mid to low 30s over the next 24 hours. The City of Moundridge has very lenient rules for keeping your utilities connected - we ask that you contact us with a workable payment date for you. This means if you give us a date and you find that isn't going to work it is very important to let us know you can't make it that day. If we don't receive contact from you and no payment is made, you are automatically put on the shut off list for the next business day.
